This Alfred Meakin, England oval platter offers beautiful colors, browns, deep red, soft purple, gold and green. Measuring 16", a platter this size can hold both your roast and vegetables. The platter has embossed handles on each end and there are not any chips on this platter. And if you look real hard, you will find a few tiny kiln indentations on the back. This pattern is over 100 years old!
